Dates to Note for School Year 2025-2026:

First Day is September 2, 2025
Last Day is May 22, 2026

Butterfly Hill Family Gathering at Lake Brophy County Park
September 15th from 5:00-6:30

Fall conferences will be during the week of November 3.

Holiday Toy Swap will be December 5 at 5:15-7PM.

Winter Family Celebration will be December 17 at 2:15.

Registration for Summer 2026/School Year 2026-2027 will begin in February 2026.

Spring Conferences will be during the week of March 16.

End of Year Celebrations will be the evening of May 19.

Butterfly Hill Nature Preschool is not in session May 25-29, 2026. Our teachers will be preparing for the upcoming session, as well as participating in license required training.

June 24-26 for our staff to attend a nature conference
July 3rd in observance of the 4th of July

Butterfly Hill closely aligns with the Alexandria School District calendar, including holidays and approximately one teacher in-service day per month when the school is closed. When the Alexandria School District releases the 2026–2027 school year calendar in March 2026, we will finalize and share our school year calendar here.
